A quick and easy Chicken Parmesan recipe that delivers gourmet flavor in just 30 minutes, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts between plastic wrap until they’re evenly thick.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Prepare three shallow dishes: one for flour, another for beaten eggs, and the last for breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in eggs, and coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Pour marinara sauce over chicken and sprinkle with mozzarella.
  8. Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and chicken is cooked through.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double-dip the chicken in flour and egg. Try swapping marinara with pesto for a twist.
