A quick and easy honey garlic chicken breast recipe perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests in no time.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir until well blended and set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of olive oil.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  4. Flip the chicken over and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until fully cooked through.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken in the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
  7. Serve hot alongside your favorite sides.
