A warm and effortless breakfast option that’s healthy, customizable, and comforting.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup old-fashion rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ large over-ripe banana
  • 3 tbsp almond milk or oat milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Optional: 1 tbsp peanut butter or 1 tbsp almond butter
  • Optional mix-ins: 2 tbsp chocolate chips, 2 tbsp blueberries, extra banana slices, 2 tbsp rainbow sprinkles, or 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 290°F and lightly grease a single-serve ramekin or baking dish.
  2. In a high-speed blender, combine all the base ingredients and blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds until well incorporated.
  3. Stir in your favorite mix-ins.
  4. Pour the blended batter into your prepared ramekin.
  5. Place it in the air fryer and cook at 290°F for 12 to 15 minutes, checking at the 7-minute mark and covering with aluminum foil if needed.
  6. Once cooked, enjoy the warm, slightly browned baked oats!

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute the egg with a flax egg. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days.
