A simple and satisfying baked chicken breast recipe that is quick to prepare and full of flavor.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to promote even cooking.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Generously rub the seasoning mixture over the chicken breasts, coating them evenly.
  5. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or let it sit in the refrigerator for up to an hour for deeper flavor.
  6. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Once done, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing to preserve moisture.

For variations, try using regular paprika or Italian seasoning instead of smoked paprika.
