  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs (thyme, oregano, or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure proper seasoning adherence.
  3. Brush both sides of each chicken breast generously with olive oil.
  4. Mix together garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and any optional dried herbs in a small bowl.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the seasoning mixture over both sides of the chicken, ensuring full coverage.
  6. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and enjoying!
