  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken cutlets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
  5. Dip each cutlet into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Coat each cutlet with the breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Sear the breaded chicken cutlets for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  9. Transfer the browned cutlets to a baking dish.
  10. Top each cutlet with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  12. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C).
