Comforting and flavorful baked chicken breasts coated in breadcrumbs, topped with marinara sauce and cheese, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Cooked spaghetti (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast with a light drizzle of olive oil.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture until thoroughly coated.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce generously over each breast.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Serve hot over cooked spaghetti.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
