A delicious and comforting dish featuring juicy chicken breasts coated in crispy breadcrumbs, rich marinara sauce, and melted cheese.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
  3. Coat each chicken breast evenly with breadcrumbs, pressing slightly to ensure they adhere well.
  4. Place the coated chicken breasts in a baking dish and drizzle them with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the breadcrumbs have a lovely golden color.
  6. Remove the dish from the oven and generously spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
  8. Return the dish to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider using panko breadcrumbs. You can also add different herbs or vegetables for variation.
