A comforting dish featuring crispy chicken breasts topped with marinara and cheese, served over spaghetti.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are well-coated. Place the coated chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. Spoon marinara sauce over the chicken in the last 10 minutes of baking, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Serve the chicken over the spaghetti, drizzled with additional marinara, and garnish with fresh basil, if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for an additional 1-2 minutes after baking. Adding red pepper flakes to the marinara can give it a little kick.
