Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the balsamic mixture over them, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  5. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil if desired for extra flavor and presentation.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken for a couple of hours or overnight. You can substitute honey with maple syrup for a unique flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
