Healthy and delicious Banana Oatmeal Bars, perfect for a quick snack or breakfast on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (approx. 3 bananas)
  • ½ cup nut butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and flatten into an even layer. For an extra touch, sprinkle more chocolate chips on top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until edges are golden and bars feel set in the center.
  5. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

To store, wrap bars in plastic wrap or keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Refrigerate to keep fresh for about a week, or freeze for longer storage.
