  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (approx. 3 bananas)
  • ½ cup nut butter (such as almond or peanut)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas and nut butter in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt. Mix until well blended.
  4. Transfer the mixture to your lined baking pan. Flatten it into an even layer.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the bars are set in the middle.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares or rectangles.

Notes

Ensure the bananas are very ripe for the sweetest flavor. Mix gently to avoid denser bars.
