A moist and delicious banana bread recipe that is perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert using ripe bananas.

  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until combined.
  4. Mix in the sugar, followed by the beaten egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then mix well.
  6. Add the flour, stirring until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
