A delicious and customizable breakfast sandwich featuring a toasted bagel with eggs, cheese, and your choice of savory bacon or sausage.

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 slice of cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 2 slices of bacon or sausage patty
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Slice the bagel in half and toast it until it reaches your preferred crispiness.
  2. In a frying pan, cook the bacon or sausage until it’s nicely browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove the meat from the pan and add a bit of butter.
  4. Crack the eggs into the pan. Cook until they’re to your liking—sunny side up or scrambled—and don’t forget to add salt and pepper to taste!
  5. When the eggs are almost done, place the slice of cheese on top. Cover the pan briefly to allow the cheese to melt.
  6. Assemble your sandwich by layering the cooked meat and cheesy eggs, and then place the other half of the bagel on top.
