A delightful and convenient egg casserole perfect for brunch or busy mornings, combining eggs, bread, cheese, and savory ham or sausage.

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 slices of bread, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup diced ham or cooked sausage
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth.
  3. Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, mixing well for an even flavor.
  4. Fold in the cubed bread, cheese, and diced ham or cooked sausage.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
