A delightful twist on a classic grilled cheese, featuring eggs and cheese between crispy, buttery bread. Perfect for breakfast or brunch!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
  2. Crack the eggs into the skillet, cooking them until they reach your desired doneness.
  3. In the same skillet, place one slice of bread and add a slice of cheese on top.
  4. Once the eggs are done, place them on top of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper, and cover with the second slice of bread.
  5. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown. Carefully flip and repeat on the other side.
  6. Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve hot.
