Quick, crispy chicken bites finished with a buttery pan sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Trim and cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season evenly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter. Let the butter melt and foam, avoiding burning.
  3. Add the chicken in a single layer, ensuring they have space to sear. Cook, turning occasionally, for 6–8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/74°C).
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, chicken thighs can be used. Use olive oil instead of butter for a dairy-free option.
