A quick and customizable charcuterie and cheese board that you can assemble in minutes for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3–5 cheeses (soft brie, semi-soft havarti, firm aged cheddar, accent blue cheese)
  • 2–3 cured meats (prosciutto, salami, soppressata)
  • Assorted crackers and/or sliced baguette
  • Fresh fruit (grapes, apple or pear slices, seasonal berries)
  • Dried fruit (apricots or figs)
  • Nuts (almonds, walnuts, or Marcona almonds)
  • Olives or cornichons (in a small bowl)
  • Spreads (fig jam, honey, grainy mustard)
  • Soft butter or mild cheese spread (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)
  • Small bowls for wet items
  • A large board or platter and cheese knives

Instructions

  1. Bring cheeses to room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Place small bowls on the board for olives, jam, honey, or nuts.
  3. Add your largest cheeses spaced across the board.
  4. Fold or roll cured meats and arrange them near complementary cheeses.
  5. Tuck crackers and bread slices in stacks or fanned groups.
  6. Fill gaps with fruit, dried fruit, and small clusters of nuts.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and label cheeses if desired.

Notes

Let cheeses warm to room temperature for the best flavor and texture. Use bowls to keep loose items tidy and create visual pockets.
