A rich and comforting dish featuring succulent chicken breasts in a decadent creamy garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Lightly dredge each piece in flour, ensuring a thorough coating.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and pan-fry for about 6-7 minutes per side until they are golden brown and thoroughly cooked. Once done, remove them and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, introduce the butter and sliced onions. Cook until the onions are caramelized, which should take approximately 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for another minute or until the garlic becomes fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, mixing well. Let the sauce simmer for about 3-5 minutes until it thickens beautifully.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring each piece is coated in that luscious sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving to add a pop of color.

Notes
