A creamy and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken, gluten-free farfalle, and a savory garlic Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil water by filling a large pot and bringing it to a boil.
  2. Cook pasta according to the package directions until al dente.
  3. Prepare the spice rub by mixing together paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Sear the chicken after pounding it slightly and seasoning generously with the spice mixture.
  5. Cook through by lowering the heat, covering, and cooking until the chicken reaches 165°F.
  6. Make the sauce by melting butter and adding dry shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  7. Add cream and cheese gradually until smooth and melted.
  8. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy sauce until well-coated.
  9. Serve by slicing the chicken and placing it atop the pasta. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Serve garnished with fresh parsley or extra Parmesan. Pair with a salad or garlic bread.
