A classic Chicken Parmesan recipe layered with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spaghetti (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Coat each chicken breast thoroughly with breadcrumbs, making sure every inch is covered.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and top each piece with marinara sauce, Parmesan, and mozzarella.
  7. Return the sheet pan to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve your Chicken Parmesan over cooked spaghetti with extra marinara sauce as desired.
