A classic Chicken Parmesan dish with crispy chicken, marinara sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-seasoned)
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for seasoned flour, one with beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder.
  3. Dip each chicken breast first into the flour, then into the eggs, and finally coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Place the seared chicken in a greased baking dish. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece and top generously with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

Serve with a light side salad or pasta. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
