  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Begin by flattening the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  3. Next, set up your breading station with flour, a beaten egg, and a breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it in the egg, and then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
