A comforting and delicious Chicken Parmesan that’s perfect for family dinners and entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast with olive oil and then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing it in tightly.
  4. Place the chicken in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and pour marinara sauce over each breast. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
