A classic Chicken Parmesan recipe featuring crispy chicken, tangy marinara, and gooey cheese, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless (skinless chicken breasts)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  2. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and black pepper.
  3. Set up your dredging station by placing flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and combining breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian herbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, coating it fully.
  5. Dip it in the beaten eggs, letting excess drip off.
  6. Coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  7. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  8. Fry the breaded chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes on each side.
