A quick and delicious Chinese Chicken recipe that combines tender chicken pieces, vibrant vegetables, and a savory sauce.

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry briefly until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated chicken to the hot pan. Cook until golden brown.
  4. Toss in the bell pepper, broccoli, and sliced carrot. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onions before serving hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sesame oil when cooking. You can skip marinating if short on time, but it enhances taste significantly. Cut vegetables uniformly for even cooking.
