A warm and gooey breakfast that combines the sweet, sticky goodness of cinnamon rolls with a comforting custard bake.

  • 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and spread them evenly in the dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup until well blended.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces, ensuring they’re nicely coated.
  5. If you’re using nuts, sprinkle them over the top for added crunch.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly. Drizzle with icing from the cinnamon roll package and dust with powdered sugar.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious creation!
