Instructions

  1. Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix the two together until just blended—don’t worry about a few lumps!
  2. Make the cinnamon swirl: In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Heat the griddle: Preheat your griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
