A warm and hearty casserole, perfect for breakfast or brunch gatherings, made with frozen hashbrowns, cheese, and creamy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the frozen hashbrowns, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, chopped onion, and melted butter.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to your liking. Mix until everything is completely combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and the top is a lovely golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy edges, consider broiling the dish for the last few minutes of baking. If you’re short on time, use pre-diced frozen onions.
