  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture until well coated.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. While the chicken cooks, mix mayonnaise, hot sauce, garlic powder, and lemon juice in a bowl until smooth.
  6. Toast the sandwich buns lightly, then assemble with lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, fried chicken, and creamy sauce.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
