A delightful dish combining buttery chicken, bowtie pasta, and fresh broccoli, enhanced by the zesty flavor of lemon.

  • 34 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces and mince garlic.
  2. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt unsalted butter until foamy. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add to skillet and cook until golden brown, roughly 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in freshly squeezed lemon juice, sprinkle thyme and oregano, and stir everything together.
  6. Toss in chopped broccoli and cooked pasta, stirring gently for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
  7. Serve garnished with extra lemon zest.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave, adding moisture as needed.
