A delightful breakfast casserole combining crispy bacon, creamy cheese, and fluffy eggs, perfect for busy mornings and leisurely weekends.

  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups hash browns (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove it and chop it into pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Grease a baking dish and layer the hash browns evenly on the bottom.
  5. Spread the chopped bacon over the hash browns, then sprinkle the cheese on top.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over these layers in the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is a beautiful golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. If desired, garnish with green onions.
