A comforting creamy pasta dish with tender chicken breast and cheesy sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pieces Chicken Breast (Boneless and skinless)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 12 oz Penne Pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the penne pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and basil.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Cook the seasoned chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Remove them from the skillet and allow to rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add the butter. Once it’s melted, pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping up any browned bits on the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until it melts and becomes a creamy sauce.
  6. Toss the cooked penne pasta and sliced chicken into the sauce, mixing until everything is well coated.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a vibrant finish.

Notes

For a little kick, consider adding red pepper flakes to the seasonings. Swap dried herbs for fresh for added flavor.
