Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cooked pasta, and half of the cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese has melted.
  7. Optional: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, sauté diced bell peppers or mushrooms with the beef. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
