A quick and delicious Creamy Garlic Chicken Skillet that combines tender chicken with a rich garlic and Parmesan sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet.
  2. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about a minute until it’s fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning some sauce over it. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop over low heat with a splash of chicken broth.
