A quick and comforting dish featuring juicy chicken thighs in a creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the seasoned chicken thighs for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Lower the heat to medium, then add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the skillet.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, allowing it to simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  7. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for 5 to 7 minutes, ensuring it’s cooked through.
  9. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Fresh garlic elevates the flavor significantly.
