A delicious and easy recipe for creamy garlic Parmesan chicken breast that brings comfort food to your table.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound to an even thickness, then season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the sauce: Lower the skillet heat, add the butter, and melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Create the creamy mixture: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the pan. Mix in the Parmesan cheese and let simmer until thickened.
  5. Combine and heat: Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to absorb the sauce.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes or sautéed greens. Leftovers can be stored for 3-4 days in an airtight container. Reheat gently over low heat.
