A comforting and creamy chicken dish enveloped in a rich garlic-Parmesan sauce, paired with crispy fries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Potato fries (for serving)
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute, or until fragrant.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese along with the red pepper flakes, if using. Mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it generously with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chicken is thoroughly heated.
  7. Serve the creamy garlic-Parmesan chicken alongside crispy potato fries and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap the heavy cream for half-and-half. Consider serving with zucchini fries for a lower-carb option.
