  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups ramen noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a splash of oil in a large pot over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Set the chicken aside.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the same pot and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, stirring together and bringing to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually for just a few minutes.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, then return the cooked chicken to the pot, allowing it to warm and absorb flavors.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

Feel free to use low-sodium broth or substitute chicken for tofu for a plant-based option. The dish reheats well but may require additional broth or water when warming.
