  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts liberally with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  6. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and optional red pepper flakes. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak in the sauce for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
