A comforting and flavorful dish with seared chicken thighs enveloped in a rich, creamy sauce, perfect for any weeknight dinner or entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the chicken thighs for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they’re nicely browned.
  4. Add the minced garlic into the same skillet, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring in the Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the seared chicken thighs to the skillet, ensuring each piece is well coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Transfer the skillet to your preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  8. Before serving, garnish with fresh parsley for an extra pop of color.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Nutritional yeast can be used as a non-dairy alternative for Parmesan.
