A comforting and rich dish featuring chicken thighs bathed in a creamy garlic sauce topped with Parmesan cheese—perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Generously season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet. Sear for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip the thighs and add the minced garlic, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, ensuring it surrounds the chicken. Then, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  8. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken thighs in garlic and herbs for additional flavor. Make sure to monitor the cooking time as oven variations may affect results.
