A silky and tangy white cheese dip that’s perfect for parties and game day, made with cream cheese, white cheddar, and Monterey Jack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped jalapeños (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the cream cheese and milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the cream cheese softens and the mixture is smooth and bubbling gently.
  2. Lower the heat to medium-low. Add the shredded white cheddar and Monterey Jack a handful at a time, stirring continuously until each addition melts smoothly.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. If desired, fold in chopped jalapeños.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with fresh cilantro if desired, and serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Notes
