Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, these baked chicken breasts are a weeknight staple that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, letting any excess egg drip off.
  4. Coat the chicken with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it adheres well.
  5. Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil for that extra crispiness.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the exterior is golden brown, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving to retain moisture.

Notes

Panko breadcrumbs enhance the crunch; let the chicken rest after baking for optimal juiciness.
