A quick and satisfying dish of chicken breasts coated in a crispy Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, perfect for family dinners.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Whisk the eggs in a shallow bowl until well beaten.
  4. Mix together panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  5. Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Arrange the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

For extra crunch, feel free to swap regular breadcrumbs for panko. Experiment with spices for different flavors.
