A delightful and quick recipe for crispy Parmesan chicken served with a rich creamy garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces of boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup (100 g) of finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (120 g) of breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound them to a uniform 1-inch thickness.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. Set up a breading station: in one bowl, beat the eggs; in another, mix breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan.
  5. Dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture, letting excess drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb mix, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Arrange the breaded chicken on a greased baking sheet, spaced apart for even cooking.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. For extra crunch, broil for 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
  9. In a saucepan, melt butter or heat olive oil over medium heat.
  10. Sauté the minced garlic until it’s fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  11. Pour in the heavy cream, simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring continuously.
  12. Season the garlic sauce with salt, pepper, and add optional red pepper flakes for a kick.

Notes

For best results when reheating, pop your chicken back in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
