Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces of boneless chicken
  • 1 cup (100 g) of finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (120 g) of breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup (240 ml) of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound them to a 1-inch thickness.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. Set up a breading station: beat the eggs in one bowl, and combine breadcrumbs with Parmesan in another.
  5. Dip each chicken piece in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere well.
  6. Arrange the breaded chicken on a greased baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  7. Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. For an extra crispy finish, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  9. While the chicken bakes, melt butter or heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  10. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  11. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  12. Season the garlic sauce with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.

Notes

For maximum flavor, let the chicken marinate in salt and pepper for about 30 minutes before breading. Use fresh Parmesan cheese for the best melting quality.
