A quick, easy, and delicious dish that features golden-brown chicken with a crunchy panko and Parmesan coating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then press into the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.
  4. Carefully place the coated chicken breasts into the hot oil. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in Italian seasoning before coating. Make sure the oil is hot enough before adding the chicken for optimal crispiness.
