A rich and creamy chicken dish cooked in a crockpot with sun-dried tomatoes and garlic, perfect for impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes (drained and chopped)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken: Begin by seasoning your chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them directly into your crockpot.
  2. Mix the sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and additional salt and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Coat the chicken: Pour the creamy sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring that each breast is fully coated.
  4. Cook: Cover the slow cooker and let it work its magic! Cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Serve: Once done, shred or serve the chicken whole, garnished with fresh basil. Pair it with pasta, polenta, or salad for a complete meal.

Notes

Use quality ingredients for the best flavor and don’t skip the fresh basil for garnish.
