Deliciously crispy baked BBQ chicken drumsticks coated in sweet and tangy sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

  • 12 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the drumsticks and toss to ensure they’re well-coated.
  4. Arrange the drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake the drumsticks for about 25 minutes.
  6. Remove them from the oven and brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over each drumstick.
  7. Return the chicken to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through and the sauce is caramelized.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispy skin, broil the drumsticks for a few minutes at the end. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
